Regina
Vocals, MC

Regina was born in Odessa, Russia, and was a natural performer from birth. A classical piano and voice graduate of Odessa's music school and college, she continued her music career, when moving to United States in 1979. Upon arrival in San-Francisco, Regina began developing her talents in various liaisons.

In 1980 a performing arts theatre "ZTDRI" for Russian immigrans was created by Garik Belenky , where Regina appeared in numerous productions.

In 1984 Regina founded a party band called Alladin and performed for various charities in San Francisco Bay Area. There she developed a professional bond with Dmitry. The band delivered what the Russian immigrant culture was craving: a young, driven pop band that played hip material.
That's what made this project so successful and fun!

Regina performed with the Russian Roulette band at the Stagecoach bar and restaurant on weekends for over 10 years. This was a tremendous experience and personal growth, which classified Regina a well known and respected perfomer in San-Francisco as well as abroad. In the San Francisco russian community she was known as "The favorite - a STAR of immigrant culture". She gained further experience by performing alongside such artists as Misha Shufutinsky, Sasha Rosenbaum, Michael Tanich, Slava Medyanik, Misha Botzman, Sisters Rose, Lenya Gutkin, Suzanna Tepper and many others. Since then, Regina has delivered dazzling performances throughout the country, appearing in "Taj-Mahal" Atlantic City, "National" New York, "Bill Graham productions", "Narada" Michael Walden productions, "Russia House" San Francisco, and more...

In 1995 Regina has recorded a project with a well known poet and a legend, Ilya Reznik, for TV studio "Z-K". It piloted in Moscow, Russia.

She has also recorded voiceovers for "Union City", a film Production Company.

Regina is a lead singer and Master of Ceremonies in this band she launched in 2000.

Mauricio Garay
Vocals, Saxophone

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Mauricio Garay is a skillful full-range first tenor vocalist. He sings a variety of styles including Jazz, Rock, Pop, Opera, and in various languages. He brings raw vocal power to the band.

His experience includes nine years (1991-2000) singing lead and background vocals, and playing alto saxophone with an international band MusicBox.This band performed around the bay area at exclusive clubs and private events.

From 1985-1991, Mauricio was the lead vocalist and a contributing song writer in the rock band The Visitors. Performing throughout California in venues such as Shoreline Amphitheater, The Fillmore, Uncle Charlie's, Bimbo's, The Warfield, and sharing the stage with known performers such as Todd Rundgren, Huey Lewis, Neil Shon, and Eddie VanHalen.

In the early 80's Mauricio was the lead vocalist and song writer in a professional R&B band Chase.This musical act performed throughout the Bay Area, in various night clubs and at private events.

His latest promotional CD, Many Voices, features many great songs such as A House Is Not A Home, Inovidable, Speak Without Words, Corazon De Melao, No Me Platiques Mas, Si Quieres, Same Time Next Year, Always And Forever, Mucho Corazon, and The Impossible Dream. Dmitry Panich
Keyboards, Vocals, Sound

Born in Lvov, Russia, Dmitry started studying classical piano and theory at the age of six. By the age of ten, he was performing at school dances and events.

Having immigrated from Russia to USA in 1979, his classical music education abruptly ended. Being abroad introduced him to many new musical influences, and he continued playing keyboards, piano, and now drums with various high school bands. In 1986 he joined a local Russian dance party band Alladin, which is where he met Regina. That band launched him into the Russian music culture. Along the way he performed with various Russian artists that have helped expand his repertoire and experience tremendously.

Parallel to playing music on the Russian scene, during the late 80s he played keyboards for the rock band The Visitors. Performing throughout California in venues such as Shoreline Amphitheater, The Fillmore, Uncle Charlie's, Bimbo's, The Warfield, and sharing the stage with known performers such as Huey Lewis, Neil Shon, and Eddie VanHalen.

In the early 90's Dmitry was the keyboardist and song writer in a professional R&B/Funk band Bedrock.This musical act performed throughout the Bay Area, in various night clubs, local street fairs and festivals. During that time, he also was the leader of a local Russian Band Music Box, which played weekly at the famous Russia House for almost ten years.

His roles with Regina's All Stars band involve playing keyboards, singing, and engineering sound for the group.


He recorded a CD in 2001 which you can hear on his my space page. Currently Dmitry is raising his two daughters with his wife Zhanna, and works as an art director for several prominent music magazines.

Bob Coons
Guitars

Born in Chicago, and raised in the Bay Area, Bob started playing guitar in his teen years. From 1968-1973 he performed with the San Francisco Boys Chorus as boy Soprano, San Francisco Opera, and the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, sharing the stage with such luminaries as Placido Domingo, Joan Sutherland, and Seiji Ozawa.

Bob also played guitar for various acts culminating in a position as tour and studio guitarist for The Timex Social Club in the late 80s. He has also played guitar in various jazz R&B acts in U.S. and Europe, and even entertained soldiers in the Persian Gulf War.

From 1992-present he has been playing lead and rhythm guitar with Dmitry and his band at the Russia House in San Francisco, then the South City Steak House (also a Russian venue). In 2000-2002 he performed with Melvin Seals and The Jerry Garcia Band Pomelo, Bobbie Webb, and the Chad Hollister band.

Currently Bob is also a Senior Music Analyst for pandora.com

Bob's Notable Sideman gigs: Playing regularly or occasionaly with folks such as Mitch Stein, Billy Johnson (Santana's drummer), Greg Erico (Sly Stone's drummer), Dave Garibaldi, Jules Broussard, Pharoe Saunders.
